Position Overview:
Emergency Medicine locum tenens coverage is needed for two hospitals in West Virginia. Full-time (15-20 shifts/month) preferred but part-time opportunities are available. Active WV license is also preferred but our team is willing to license you if needed!

- Annual volume: 14,000
- 10 ED beds
- 24-hour physician coverage, 10-hour APP coverage
- 12-hour shifts: 7a – 7p / 7p – 7a
- BC or BE: EM, IM, FM
- Paintsville ARH Hospital:
- Annual volume: 13,000
- 10 ED beds
- 24-hour physician coverage, 10-hour APP coverage
- 12-hour shifts: 6a – 6p / 6p – 6a
- BC or BE: EM, IM, FM
- Barbourville ARH Hospital:
- Annual volume: 11,000
- 7 ED beds, 25 bed critical access hospital
- 24-hour physician or APP coverage
- 12-hour shifts: 7a – 7p / 7a – 7p
- BC or BE: EM, IM, FM
- Morgan County ARH Hospital
- Annual volume: 6,000
- 8 ED beds, 25 bed critical access hospital
- 12 or 24-hour shifts available: 9a – 9a
- BC or BE: FM, IM preferred – EM required to perform hospitalist work
Certifications: ATLS (if not EM trained), ACLS, BLS, PALS
